Type of works:     Fire - Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs)

We were requested to upgrade the defective AOV smoke control system in the 2 x blocks at Stratford Lock. This work required the replacement of all the smoke control AOV panel’s as the existing units were defective with no spares available. Also required was to rectify the defective roof hatch units to allow correct opening in accordance with the original design specification. The system was controlled by a fully upgraded networked analogue addressable fire alarm control panel with field smoke sensors to control the AOV systems cause and effects and interlocks.

Project completed July 2017.
