Type of works:     Fire - Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs)

We were commissioned by the client to solve a problem regarding smoke ventilators on a stairwell that when operated, required manual closing from the roof area causing a hazard to staff. Rose Fire & Security Ltd drew on extensive automatic opening vent knowledge, to provide an electrical opening and closing solution which could be initiated from a safe lower level. There were extensive modifications required to the opening mechanism to allow this operation, which were designed and installed in house by our qualified engineering staff.
