Preventative Maintenance

This page will explain about the preventative maintenance services that we can provide for your emergency lights and other electrical systems.

Thermographic testing

We offer tailored maintenance programs from thermographic testing to lighting checks and lamp replacements. The primary aim of an electrical preventative maintenance service contract is to save money long term and avoid the unnecessary costs of one off call outs and breakdowns of plant and services.

Whatever your requirements you can be confident that our qualified electricians will be on call 24/7, a service which we offer to all our contracted maintenance clients at reduced rates. This level of support is unusual in the electrical industry but as all of our engineers are both fire and electrically qualified, it is something that we can offer.

Emergency lighting:

Emergency lighting should be periodically tested and inspected to ensure luminaires are functioning correctly to their rated duration of luminance 1 or 3 hours. British Standards BS 5266, recommends that regular servicing is essential and that a 'competent person' should be appointed to supervise servicing. A reliable and measurable system should be in place to ensure the installation remains functional and compliant.

We can undertake small works additions and variations to existing electrical installations.
